Job Title - Chief Executive Officer
Responsibilities
- Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
- Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team
- Communicate government offices and member banks for all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and internal policies to maintain the company’s legal framework and business ethics
- Review financial and non-financial reports to decide solutions or improvements
- Build trust relations with MPU member banks and MPU merchants.
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the digital payment markets and financial industry of Myanmar.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as CEO or in other managerial position (preferably who has experiences in banking and payment industry)
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, performance management principles and general management best practices
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, finance etc.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Expert analytical abilities and problem-solving skills on times
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills and fluent in English
Job Title - Chief Operating Officer
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to promote MPU.
- Work as a key member of the executive team contributing to wider corporate strategy, policy and decision making.
- Ensure appropriate system, processes and performance management arrangement are in place to deliver consistent high-quality level of service provision and actively report and monitor achievement.
- Lead the development of innovative products and services and productive partnerships with a wide range of merchants and other external partnership.
- Communicate MPU member banks and MPU merchants (existing/ potential) to build trust relations
- Research problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
- Ensure sustainable delivery of operational service to agreed performance, quality, safety, financial and activity targets and commitments.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven 5 years’ experience in managerial position (preferably who has experiences in FinTech sector or banking and payment industry)
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, finance etc.
- Expert analytical abilities and problem-solving skills on times
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills and fluent in English
